Why use Merge PDF?
Signed contracts, scanned receipts and exported reports usually arrive as separate PDFs. Merging them produces one file to email, print or archive, with the pages in the order you decided rather than the order the files happened to be created in. Because the merge runs in your browser, contracts and financial documents never travel to a third-party server to be combined.
Privacy and browser processing
Your files are processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so your document never leaves your device.
There is no account to create and nothing to install. Because the work happens on your device, the speed depends on your device rather than on how busy a server is — and closing the tab is all it takes to remove every trace of the file from this page.
Limitations
Worth knowing before you start:
- You need at least two PDF files before a merge can run.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked before they can be merged.
- Very large files are limited by the memory your browser can allocate.
- Bookmarks, attachments and form fields from the source files may not carry over into the merged document.
